This machine is suitable for testing the test method of constant deformation compression set characteristics of vulcanized rubber. In this test, the vulcanized rubber sample is compressed to a specified height, and the compression set rate of the sample is determined after a certain temperature and time, or after being infiltrated by the medium.
The compression ratio can be based on the hardness of the sample (Shaoer A type selection)
The compression ratio of 50 or less can be selected as 40%;
The hardness can be 30% at a compression ratio of 50 to 75;
A hardness of 75 or more can be used for a compression ratio of 20%.
The main function:
Take the standard test piece, sandwich it between the flat plates of the device, rotate it with a screw, compress it to a certain ratio, and put it into the oven at a certain temperature. After the specified time, take it out, remove the test piece, and cool it for 30 minutes. Its thickness is calculated by the formula.
Test fixture:
The compression surface is required to be flat and its finish is not less than 7
The compression plate should not be deformed during the test. It is recommended to use steel plate with a length of about 75mm, a width of about 50mm and a thickness of about 10mm.
The height of the limiter is 8±0.02 mm, 7±0.02 mm, and 6±0.02 mm, respectively.
The incubator should have a continuous air blowing device, and the test temperature in the box is uniform. The temperature fluctuation range of the test area in the incubator is ±1 °C below 100 °C and ±2 °C from 100 to 200 °C.
