Product Description:

This burning test device can detect textiles, especially automotive interior fabrics and relative burning rate and flame retardancy. The instrument is equipped with a sealed stainless steel combustion chamber, observation window, sample holder and burner. The automatic gas control system includes an electromagnetic control gas valve, an automatic ignition timer and a controller.

Test method:

The sample was horizontally held on a U-shaped bracket and ignited by a small flame for 15 s in a combustion chamber, and the flame was ignited at the free end of the sample. Record whether the flame is extinguished or when it is extinguished; and the distance the sample burns and the time it takes to burn the distance.

Instrument composition:

1. Combustion system: anti-corrosion combustion box, inner diameter 9.5mm gas lamp nozzle; Bunsen burner; ignition automatic control system, intake and exhaust system.

2, timing system: burning timer, afterflame timer.

3. Test fixture: It consists of two U-shaped corrosion-resistant metal plates. One of the brackets is provided with a heat-resistant metal wire diameter of 0.25 mm and a support line with a distance of 25 mm.

4. Glass observation window: The front part of the combustion box is provided with a heat-resistant glass observation window, which can easily observe the change of burning speed during combustion.

5. Stainless steel box: There are 10 venting holes with a diameter of 19mm at the bottom of the combustion box. The four walls are close to the top with a 13mm wide ventilation slot. The entire combustion chamber is supported by four legs 10 mm high. A small hole for inserting a thermometer is arranged at the top of the combustion box, and the hole is arranged at the center of the top and the back, and the center is 20 mm from the inner side of the rear panel.
