Equipment functions

Gun Flushers are designed to automatically clean automatic spray guns with mechanical gun guides.

Single and dual gun head gun flushers are available. Taper caps and seals should be matched to the gun head model.

A pneumatic control box is available as an option.

To begin cleaning, the robot must walk to the cleaning position and place the gun vertically into the center of the Gun Flush vertebrae opening.

The fan-shaped air nozzle should be parallel to the horizontal axis of the brush.As a first step tasks such as cleaning, color change and painting can be performed. The waste liquid material from the gun nozzle is discharged through the drain of the gun washer. The robot then pushes the sliding cover along the sliding groove and opens it to the cleaning brush. Before the gun reach the cleaning brush, the solvent valve is opened for a short time to supply solvent in an amount sufficient to wet the brush.

Then activate the cleaning brush drive, the brush will rotate repeatedly, and gun cleaning will begin. It is best to clean the gun for no less than 5 seconds. If it is particularly dirty, the cleaning time must be extended. When the cleaning is finished, the robot returns to the sliding groove in the same way and the sliding cover is automatically reset. Turn on the fan and atomizing air of the automatic gun when the gun leaves the gun washer. This allows sufficient solvent and other residues to be removed from the nozzle and allows the nozzle to be blown dry.

Equipment Description

Materials: stainless steel, Teflon, brass

The gun washer is made of silicone-free materials. No other materials that would cause wettability disorders were used during pre-installation either.

Pneumatic control box (optional)

The installation location of the pneumatic box must be outside the spray booth.

Mechanical installation

The mounting position depends on the range of action and the working range of the gun guides.

• The gun washer is fixed in the spray booth with fastening bolts M8×60. The opening φ38 of the drain port must be vertically downward to allow the cleaning medium to be discharged smoothly.
• The compressed air, cleaner and drain port must be connected to the gun washer. -Use special sealing material for sealing if necessary.

Notes on maintenance 

Regular maintenance (various functional defects or damages can lead to significant losses, malfunctions and increase the risk of injuries)

-Re-inspect at the times prescribed by law and recommended by the manufacturer.

-Regularly test material and air ducts, hoses and screwed bolts for mechanical damage as well as leaks. -Replace defective parts immediately.

-If there are too many faults or defects, stop using the equipment until fault finding is complete.

Replace spare parts (use of non-specialized spare parts can lead to damage to the appliance and limited safety functions) -Use only original spare parts that meet the manufacturer's specifications.

Risk of entrapment of the lid in the chute (private alterations to the gun washer can increase the risk of injury and the manufacturer cannot be held responsible in the event of an accident)

-Only allow authorized professionals to perform alterations.

        -After alterations a new risk assessment is carried out and a record of the alterations is provided.
