Switch Module is mainly used in TC's household multimedia boxes, provides branches for networks, especially ideal for home and SOHO network. It utilizes store and forward technology coupled with dynamic memory allocation for effective port distribution. And the flow control helps avoid packet losses during transmission and recipient of the nodes.
Product Features
Switch module provides 5 or 7 10/100M adaptive RJ45 ports (auto MDI/MDIX), no distinction between inlets and outlets, with plug-and play network configuration. It is compatible with 10Base-T and 100Base-T networks; the LED panel light dynamically exhibits power supply and network connectivity; and it also supports IEEE802.3X for full-duplex flow control and back pressure for half-duplex flow control so as to prevent data loss. Its outer housing uses high density ABS material featuring high gloss, good flexibility, impact resistance and aging resistance. The FR4 high frequency PCB ensures low attenuation in signal transmission.
