Fiber Optic Adapter Description:

The green color E2K  adaptor Both ends can be inserted into optical fiber connectors of different interface types. Widely used in optical fiber distribution frames (ODF), optical fiber communication equipment, instruments, etc., with superior performance, stability, and reliability.

In fact, these are two different products. The E2000 adapter has a Precision connection with the sleeve. SM and MM connectors can be used interchangeably. The application of the E2K adaptor is to connect the patch cord from the outside of the patch panel to the inside of the patch panel. The distribution cable will be dropped from the com port, and splice with pigtails in the patch panel. All fibers will come out from the patch panel so that it must need adaptors on the patch panel to connect the patch cord in the outside of the patch panel.
