E2K APC female to female fiber optic plastic adaptor Zirconia ferrule​

Fiber Optic Adapter Description:

E2K APC adaptor is a single-mode type, it is for connecting two pcs of the single-mode patch cord. From the picture, we can see the adaptor is a female to a female type. It does not have the E2K connector with a ferrule on two sides. The out shelf is plastic material, so that the weight is not heavy, inside of the adaptor is Zirconia ferrule, which can make the connection more exactly.

The application of the E2K adaptor is to connect the patch cord from the outside of the patch panel to the inside of the patch panel. The distribution cable will be dropped from the com port, and splice with pigtails in the patch panel. All fibers will come out from the patch panel so that it must need adaptors on the patch panel to connect the patch cord in the outside of the patch panel.

The E2K adaptor has a very important function between the connection and data transmission. Because if we need many fibers cable to transmit the data, then we will use the trunk cable or mini cable. At the end of the fibers or data center, we need to separate the cable into many functions, so that we need the adaptor to connect both sides together.
