Vanadium iron arc furnace is a key equipment specifically used for producing vanadium iron alloys. Vanadium iron, as an important ferroalloy, has a wide range of applications in the production of steel and other alloys. Vanadium production is generally carried out using electric arc refining furnaces, typically with a capacity of 1.5 to 5 tons.
三. The main mechanical equipment of an electric arc furnace consists of several parts, including the furnace body, furnace cover, furnace cover lifting mechanism, conductive cross arm, electrode lifting device, furnace body tilting mechanism, and other auxiliary devices.
1. Furnace body: The furnace body consists of two parts: a metal component and a lining made of refractory materials. The metal component includes the furnace shell, furnace door, and steel outlet. The furnace shell is welded from a δ 16 thick steel plate, with reinforcing ribs on the outside. The furnace door is used for observing the inside of the furnace and for operations such as slag removal, sampling, and feeding. The furnace door is usually covered with a furnace door, and water is used for cooling inside the furnace door. The steel tapping groove is used for tapping steel, and it is fixed to the furnace shell by bolts and lined with refractory materials.
Requirements for the lining material of electric arc furnace: ① It should have sufficient refractoriness and load softening point; ② It should have strong slag resistance; ③ Should have good resistance to rapid cooling and heating; ④ There should be sufficient strength; ⑤ Low thermal conductivity and low electrical conductivity.
2. Furnace cover: The furnace cover is a plate type water-cooled furnace cover with slag hanging nails welded inside. During normal use, slag can be hung, which can extend the service life of the furnace cover. The electrode sealing ring is a customized refractory material ring, installed on the electrode hole reserved in the furnace cover.
3. Furnace cover lifting mechanism: It consists of two piston cylinders installed at the rear of two curved beams, which lift or lower the furnace cover through four lifting points connected to the short ring chain of the furnace cover. The maximum lifting height of the furnace cover is 300mm.
4. Conductive cross arm: The conductive cross arm is mainly composed of a cross arm body, clamp head, loop support, oil cylinder, lever, etc. The cross arm body is surrounded by water cooling and has a water channel inside. It is welded with copper steel composite plate, which reduces the many complex insulation parts on the original cross arm, simplifies its structure, reduces weight, increases transmission power, and reduces network loss by about 10%. The conductive clamp is made of chrome bronze material. It is a patented product developed and exclusively produced by our company, and is currently an ideal material for electrode clamps.
The loose electrode mechanism is a pneumatic spring pull rod type.
5. Electrode lifting device: The electrode lifting device is a fixed column type, and the electrode lifting mechanism consists of an electric motor, a reducer drum, a pulley assembly, a steel wire rope, and is equipped with a balance hammer.
The main requirements for the physical properties of graphite electrodes are as follows:
① High volume strength; ② Low resistance coefficient; ③ High thermal conductivity; ④ Low coefficient of thermal expansion; ⑤ Small elastic modulus and sufficient mechanical strength.
6. Furnace body tilting mechanism: The furnace body tilting mechanism is a bottom tilting type, which can tilt the furnace body 40-45 ° towards the steel tapping groove direction through two tilting oil cylinders, ensuring that the finished liquid in the furnace is emptied when it is discharged, and tilting 12-20 ° towards the furnace door direction for slag removal, temperature measurement, sampling and other operations. During steel tapping, the end of the steel tapping groove moves horizontally for a small distance, and the tilting speed can be adjusted.
