What is a high strength screw?
The material of high-strength screw is made of high-strength steel, and its strength grade is twice
as large as that of ordinary screw, so its load must be much larger than that of ordinary screw. On
the other hand, the connection of high-strength screws transmits external force by applying preload
and friction. The ordinary screw is connected by the screw, and the shear force is transmitted by
the shear resistance of the screw rod and the pressure on the hole wall. The and pressure after
screwing is negligible, while the friction between the screw and the nut increases because of the
preload generated by the high-strength screw. From the material point of view, it itself is made of
high-strength steel; When in use, it needs to apply a greater preload than ordinary screws; In terms
of performance, the performance grade of high-strength screws should reach above grade 8.8. In
these differences, high-strength screws and ordinary screws are also different in use. High-strength
screws are generally used for permanent connection, so they are mostly used in buildings, while
ordinary screws can be reused, and some electrical equipment to be repaired can be seen very often.
Since high-strength screws are different from ordinary screws, their process flow will also be unique.
It is divided into three parts. The first step is the pretreatment process, which includes pre electroplating
accuracy and appearance inspection, manual degreasing, soaking degreasing, pickling, electric
activation and other processes. Then there is the electroless nickel plating process, and finally the
post-treatment process, including hydrogen drive heat treatment, finished product inspection, etc.
