Material Description:

It is a special austenitic stainless steel. The urea grade stainless steel special for urea production mainly includes 316L UG, 00Cr25Ni22Mo2N (2RE69).

Urea production is synthesized from carbon dioxide and ammonia under the conditions of high pressure (140-250 atmospheres) and temperature 180-210 degrees. The intermediate product, ammonium carbamate, is strongly corrosive to stainless steel, and ordinary stainless steels such as 316L cannot meet its corrosion resistance. The special steel clock developed from this is called urea grade stainless steel.

Packing: Bare packing/bundle packing with woven bag/wooden or steel frame crate packing/plastic cap protection at the both sides of tubes and suitably protected for sea-worthly delivery or as requested.

Inspection and Test Procedure

1. The grades are 316L UG and 00Cr25Ni22Mo2N, and their chemical composition and mechanical properties should meet the requirements of national standards for qualified urea equipment and materials.

2. The metallographic structure of the material is austenite, and the ferrite content is not more than 0.6%.

3. The material must pass the test for huey test, and the test result should meet the national standard requirements for urea equipment and materials.

4. The selective corrosion test shall be carried out after huey test, and the test results shall comply with the national standard requirements for urea equipment and materials.

5. The material should also be metallographically inspected and must not contain sigma and metal inclusions, among other requirements.
