How to choose good fabrics?
Fibers of the same color and diameter are used to weave the same texture, and the ability to block solar radiant heat and control glare irradiation with a small opening rate is stronger than that with a large opening rate.
(1) 1% to 3% of the fabric can block the heat generated by solar radiation to a large extent and control the glare, but the natural light will enter less, and the transparency effect is relatively poor. So usually we recommend to use it in some sun exposure direction (such as west), and when the curtain wall is made of transparent glass. To solve the problem of strong heat radiation and harsh sunlight.
(2) Fabrics with 10% opening rate can obtain good natural light and transparency, but the performance of resisting solar radiation and glare is poor. We generally recommend fabrics with 10% open porosity in some sun exposure orientations (such as north). It is also used in some tinted glass curtain walls, which have obtained good natural lighting and transparency.
(3) 5% is generally widely used, it blocks solar radiation. To control glare and get natural light and good transparency, we generally recommend the south side.
Shading fabric 1% 3% 5% 10% opening rate: it is the main factor determining the shading function of the fabric, we can choose different opening rate fabrics according to the needs of the area where the building is located.
