Cause of problem: the main factor that causes oil seal to leak
Lax oil seal is the main factor causing oil leakage. When the shaft is worn to form grooves, even if the new oil seal is not sealed, it is because the contact pressure between the oil seal lip and the shaft drops, resulting in too small interference between the oil seal lip diameter and the shaft diameter after installation.
Taking S195 diesel engine crankshaft oil seal as an example, the main reasons for its lax seal are analyzed:
① Oil seal manufacturing quality is poor;
② Poor quality of shaft or bearing;
③ Improper use and maintenance;
(4) Improper installation;
⑤ Improper storage and adverse effects caused by environmental pollution [4].
The oil seal is not tight and the countermeasure of oil leakage
1. Master and identify the basic knowledge of fake and inferior products, and choose high-quality and standard oil seals.
2. During installation, if the outer surface roughness of the shaft diameter is low or has defects such as rust, rust, burr and so on, use fine emery cloth or whetstone to polish smooth; Apply clean oil or lubriC.A.Ting oil on the corresponding position of the oil seal lip or shaft diameter. The outer ring of the oil seal is coated with sealant, and the key slot of the shaft is wrapped with hard paper to avoid scratching the oil seal lip. The oil seal is rotated and pressed in with special tools. Do not hit hard to prevent the deformation of the oil seal or break the spring and failure; If the lip flanging, spring off and oil seal deflection must be removed and reloaded. It should be noted that when the shaft diameter is not worn and the oil seal spring is elastic enough, do not tighten the internal spring without authorization [4].
3, applied in the machinery of the oil seal generally bad working conditions, environmental temperature difference, dust, frequent vibration of the machine parts of the force constantly changing, to check, maintenance and maintenance.
4, such as the shaft diameter and bearing wear serious; Oil seal rubber aging or spring failure, should be repaired and replaced in time.
5, the abnormal heating components or assembly should be timely troubleshooting; Avoid mechanical overspeed and overload operation to prevent oil seal lip temperature rise, rubber aging, lip early wear and so on.
6, often check the oil level, if the oil impurities are too much, there should be alloy powder, metal iron filings to completely replace the new oil. The brand and quality of oil change should conform to seasonal requirements. Suggested that matt ray super sealant is added in the oil & lubricants, it is a wonderful gearbox additives, can be in an inert material film is formed on the parts, it can reduce the leakage of oil seal, prolong the service life of gear oil seal, also can reduce the noise of gear box, the matt ray super seal lubricants used or not for oil pollution caused by the deterioration of oil product.
