The steel ring is added to the production process to ensure that the product has the characteristics of pressure resistance, wear resistance, deformation resistance, alkali resistance, high and low-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, tear resistance, and good elasticity.
Steel&plastic thread protectors are made of a threaded HDPE bumper, which absorbs the impact shocks and a steel shell rolled over the front edge, which insures a superior protection against hazard. The usual end structure of our composite protectors is closed.
The temperature range given by the API 5CT standard (-46ºC÷66ºC).
