  Qatar customer sent an inquiry to our website, working in a drilling company, he would like to request a quote for Submersible Pump for using in water well depth around 150m and well diameter 8-1/2”. Please provide me specs data sheet of the pump. Because of  his well diameter 8-1/2", 200QJ series is most suitable.

 In order to quote Qatar customer the exactly price, we confirm more details again as below:

1. The well depth is 150m. What's the dynamic water level? Or let us know the pump head if you know.
2. What's the flow rate you need?
3. For deep well water pump, we have both cast iron material and SS304 material. Which material do you prefer?
4. Is the power supply 3phase/380V/50Hz?

Qatar customer requested:

1. Normally the water level should be 140 – 145 m

2. We need flow rate about 75 – 80 m3/hr.

3. I prefer SS304

4. AC supply from generator 380V/ 50 hz.

However, Qatar customer asked questions again:

Q1: Can we connect the pump out let with 2-7/8” or 3-1/2” tubing?

A1: Usually, the discharge diameter should be larger than the pump outlet. The pump outlet is 4", if you use 2-7/8” or 3-1/2” tubing, the pipe head loss is too much. The flow rate will be decrease.

Q2: But I have to use with 2-7/8” or 3-1/2” tubing. The problem now is we must connect to 2-7/8” or 3-1/2” tubing for the well site.

A2: If you have to use with 2-7/8” or 3-1/2” tubing, we suggest you use 3-1/2” tubing. We changed the pump model for you, add the pipe head loss in the total head of the pump. In this situation, the flow rate won't decrease.

There are some key points I wanna to reminder you once more time as below:
1. Please READ THE PUMP OPERATION MANUAL careful before using the pump.
2. You will see, there are two holes on the top of the pump motor. Before use, please open the two holes, then FILL CLEAN DRINKING WATER in the motor cavity.
3. When fill full clean water, then tighten the screws. 
4. It's forbidden to operate the pump without water;
5. Pump is NOT ALLOWED to use unless keep at least 2m distance from the well bottom;
6. Ensure the pump is COMPLETELY immersed in water during operation. The primary impeller of the pump should be immersed at least 2m under dynamic water level, but shall be less than 70m deep under static water level. Also water flow velocity around the motor should be more than 0.1 m/s.
7. Pump is NOT ALLOWED to use when lie down or inclines. Keep the whole pump in VERTICAL when working.
