Core troubleshooting:
The stator and rotor are the magnetic circuit portions of the motor and are usually laminated with silicon steel sheets insulated from each other. The rotor core is easily damaged and deformed for the following reasons:
1. If the bearing wears excessively or the assembly is not good, the stator and the rotor will rub and damage the surface of the iron core, which will cause short circuit between the silicon steel sheets, increase the iron loss of the motor, and the motor temperature is too high. At this time, use a tool such as fine boring to remove the burr, eliminate the short-circuit of the silicon steel sheet, clean it, apply the insulating varnish, and heat and dry.
2. The surface of the core is corroded by moisture. At this time, it can be sanded and then coated with insulating varnish.
3. High heat is generated around the group to burn the core or the tooth. The deposit can be removed with a chisel or scraper and coated with insulating varnish for drying.
4. When the old winding is removed with too much force, the thief is skewed and flared outward. At this time, it can be trimmed with tools such as needle-nosed pliers and wooden hammers to reset it, and hard insulating materials such as green paper and rubber wood are added between the gap-free silicon steel sheets which are not handled well.
5. The iron core and the base are loose, and the original set screw can be tightened. If it fails, re-drill the locating hole on the base and tap the wire to tighten the set screw.
