Hexagon Hole Aluminium Oxide Filament Nylon Wheel Brushes for Automated Finishing or Robot Cells
abrasive Nylon wheels brush for light deburring are an excellent alternative to steel filament brushes. Safe, non-reactive, and suitable for mounting on most pedestal grinders, these standard abrasive wheels are also used for edge blending, removing extrusion cut-off burrs, and general-purpose metal finishing. Typically, these BRM brushing tools use aluminum oxide (AO) or silicon carbide (SC) abrasive.
Aluminum oxide abrasives are recommended for parts made of brass, bronze, and softer metals. Silicon carbide abrasives are suitable for deburring, edge blending, and surface finishing mild steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. Grit selection in an important specification to consider. Grit options include 80, 120, 180, 320, and 500 AO and SC for nylon abrasive wheels.
CAUTION: Protect yourself from product breakage and flying particles. Always wear eye and face protection, and make sure machine guards are in place.

The abrasive filament strikes the part at a perpendicular angle. The filaments are forced up and over the burrs and their cutting energy is transferred directly to where it’s needed. The abrasive filament is more efficient to use rather than other deburring methods because of its selfsharpening capabilities. Any solution starts with abrasive filament material, grit, size and several other options which also allow our factory to engineer custom designed abrasive filament brushes.
Using maximum-density yet flexible bristles, these wheel brushes can deburr complex components without manipulating their shape. Firmly cast in place and impregnated with abrasive grit, the nylon bristles will not break off even at high speeds and produce a strong, consistent brushing effect due to the high proportion of abrasive grit they contain – which means burr-free, smoothly ground surfaces plus an exceptionally long service life and controllable wear behavior. Garant disc brushes are particularly well suited to wet machining and are compatible with all measuring head and combination face mill adapters. If required, they can be adapted specifically to suit specific needs.
