Multi-blanking is a process that combines slit-to-width and cut-to-length processes into one operation, enabling simple and cost-efficient custom slit blanks or sheets from coiled stock.

High Speed Multi-Blanking Line produces blanks and sheets to dimensional and flatness tolerances no other line can match. We can level a coil, slit it to multiple widths and then cut to length – all in one pass! The system produces multi-cut blanks from mill coils assuring the same lot, thickness and dimensional consistency. With single point shear blade clearance adjustment, we can insure a high quality cut every time. Unique camber compensation produces extremely accurate parts.

Multi Blanking Line working process:

Steel coils are transferred by an entry coil car and loaded onto an uncoiler. From uncoiler the strip proceeds through a five-high precision leveler designed to level steel within the desired material gauge range and yield strength. The strip then proceeds through a squaring unit and precision roll-feed unit to the high speed shear, where it is cut to required length. The cut sheet then moves to float sheet stacker where it is stacked on a pallet and is then moved onto the semiautomatic packaging line for wrapping.
