A blood lancet needle is a small, sharp medical device used to puncture the skin and obtain a small blood sample, typically for diagnostic purposes like glucose monitoring (e.g., for diabetes management), cholesterol testing, or other point-of-care tests. The blood lancet has ultra-thin and sterile needle from 23Gauge to 33Gauge for minimal pain. And these needles are disposable and single-use to prevent infection. Some blood lancets are retractable or come with safety caps for injury prevention.
