Overview
Stainless steel coil is a kind of coil or mosquito bend, its diameter φ16-φ25mm, its thickness is δ0.8-2.0mm, because of its high temperature resistance, anti-scaling, anti-oxidation corrosion, long service life and other characteristics, and is widely used in chemical, mechanical, electronic, electric power, textile, rubber, food, medical equipment, communications, petroleum and other industrial fields.
Stainless steel bright coil can be used in medical products. This is because, stainless steel bright coil is made of stainless steel strip welded together and then reduce the wall, reduce the wall from thick to thin, this process can make the wall thickness uniform, smooth, and stretch the wall when reducing the wall to form the effect of no weld seam. In addition, the stainless steel bright coil is bright inside and outside, beautiful, the outer diameter tolerance can generally reach plus or minus 0.01mm, is the type of coil required for medical products.
ASTM A269 for SS Coil Tube
This specification covers nominal-wall-thickness, seamless and welded austenitic steel tubing for general corrosion-resisting and low- or high-temperature service. All material shall be furnished in the heat-treated condition. The steel shall conform to the chemical composition requirements. Different mechanical test requirements that includes, flaring test, flange test, hardness test, and reverse flattening test are presented. Also, each tube shall be subjected to the non-destructive electric test or the hydrostatic test. Finally the hardness requirements for different grades of tubes are highlighted.
Features of Stainless Steel Coil Tube
1. Good process of tube installation, direct tube replacement, e and reliable, ideal heat exchange product for old unit transformation and manufacture of new equipment.
2. High temperature steam resistance, impact corrosion resistance, ammonia corrosion resistance.
3. Uniform wall, wall thickness is only 50-70% of copper tube, overall thermal conductivity is better than copper tube.
4. Anti-scaling, not easy to stain, anti-oxidation corrosion.
5. Long service life, reduce maintenance time and save money.
