Steel thermal insulation silos are used to store grain, seed, feed, cement, coal and other granular or powdered materials. The thermal insulation silos are widely used in the place where the temperature is large difference between the day and night, such as some silo sites near the sea, in this case, since the big difference of relative temperature inside and outside of silo, it’s easy to produce condensation on the silo wall inside silo, the dewdrop will influence the grain quality, produce mildew.
In order to control the moldy effectively, keep the constant temperature inside the silo is necessary, thermal insulation silo is good choose to customers.
For some place where the weather are very cold at all seasons, the cold condition will influence the seed vitality, insulated steel silo will keep warm of the seed in silo;
If the place where the weather are very hot and wet in all seasons, insulated steel grain silo with grain cooling machine (refrigerating machine) will be a great help ; Grain cooler connect with the silo bottom ventilation pipe blow cool air into the silo, which can decrease the temperature inside the silo. The insulated wool will keep grain from the sunshine.
1. Thermal insulation
Grain temperature change gradient inside silos is lower than that outside, thus not likely to have condensation of moisture.
2. Safe grain storage
Storing in a low temperature, increase the grain storage stability, keeps the grain quality and prolongs the safe-storage period.
3. Low fabrication cost
With installing an insulation layer(Polyurethane froth,rubber single,glass fiber etc.) on the outer wall,insulation silo can have a low fabrication cost compared to concrete silo.
