Extruded fin tubes are a type of finned tube where the fins are formed by extruding a sleeve of aluminum or other materials over a base tube, creating a strong mechanical bond between the fins and the tube. This process results in high-efficiency heat transfer with excellent durability and resistance to thermal and mechanical stresses.
Extruded fin tubes are widely used in air-cooled heat exchangers (ACHEs) due to their superior heat transfer capabilities and robust construction. In air-cooled heat exchangers, the primary function is to transfer heat from a process fluid within the tubes to the surrounding air, facilitated by the fins attached to the tubes.
Extruded fin tubes are integral components in air-cooled heat exchangers, providing high efficiency, durability, and reliability in a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. Their ability to enhance heat transfer, combined with their robust construction, makes them suitable for environments where efficient cooling and long service life are critical.

What is Monel 400
Monel 400 is a nickel-copper alloy (about 67% Ni – 23% Cu) that is resistant to sea water and steam at high temperatures as well as to salt and caustic solutions. Alloy 400 is a solid solution alloy that can only be hardened by cold working. This nickel alloy exhibits characteristics like good corrosion resistance, good weldability and high strength. A low corrosion rate in rapidly flowing brackish or seawater combined with excellent resistance to stress-corrosion cracking in most freshwaters, and its resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions led to its wide use in marine applications and other non-oxidizing chloride solutions.
