2. Yield Strength: It indicates the maximum load that can be applied without permanent deformation. Copper alloys generally have yield strengths significantly higher than that of pure copper, providing better performance in load-bearing applications.
3. Fatigue Strength: Important in applications with fluctuating or cyclic loads (e.g., piping systems). Copper alloys tend to have good fatigue resistance, making them suitable for dynamic applications.
4. Impact Strength: Essential for applications where sudden impacts may occur. Generally have good impact resistance, especially in the annealed condition.
