TP347 can withstand high temperatures (up to about 900°F or 482°C) without significant loss of mechanical properties, making it ideal for heat exchangers. TP347 can be welded using various methods, including TIG and MIG welding, without significant loss of corrosion resistance.

ASTM A213 TP347 Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger Tube is specifically designed for high-temperature applications, offering excellent corrosion resistance and stability. Made from TP347 stainless steel, it is stabilized with niobium (columbium) to prevent carbide precipitation.
