Description

Most bearing rings and rolling elements are made of special steel. High-carbon chromium bearing steel (GCr15 and GCr15SiMn and ZGCr15 and ZGCr15SiMn) are used to manufacture ferrules and rolling elements with high hardness.

Bearings made of high-carbon steel chromium bearing steel are generally suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -40 to 130 degrees, and oil and grease lubrication are normal. It can meet the requirements of general machinery. After high-carbon chromium bearing steel bearing parts have been tempered at high temperature, their working temperature can be as high as 250 degrees.
High-carbon chromium bearing steel is a large type of bearing steel, and is the most commonly used steel for manufacturing bearings and bearing parts. The most commonly used high-carbon chromium bearing steels are GCr15 and GCr15SiMn. The former is the most used in my country's bearing industry.

The smelting quality of bearing steel is relatively high. Because the content and distribution of non-metallic inclusions have a great influence on the life of bearing steel, it is necessary to strictly control the content and distribution of sulfur, phosphorus and non-metallic inclusions. The basic quality requirements of bearing steel are purity and uniform organization. Purity means less impurity elements and non-metallic impurities, while a uniform structure means that the carbides in the steel should be fine and evenly distributed. The more inclusions, the shorter the life span. In order to improve the quality of smelting, electric furnace smelting and electroslag remelting have been adopted, and new processes such as vacuum smelting and vacuum consumables refining can also be used to improve the quality of bearing steel.

We mainly produce chrome steel, the size is 7.9375mm ~ 82.55mm. The main material is high chromium GCR15 or GCR15SiMn. Our balls are mainly used in the wind energy industry. Influencing Factor

1. The influence of material density: steel balls, cast iron balls, alloy steel balls, etc. Different materials have different densities. The density of steel is higher than that of cast iron. The density of alloy steel is determined according to the density and content of the main alloying elements.

2. Influence of steel ball manufacturing method: Rolled and forged steel balls have a dense structure, so the density is very high. The structure of cast steel ball, cast iron balls or cast alloy ball is not very dense, and even has pores, so the density is low.

3. The influence of the metallographic structure of the steel ball: the density under different crystal structures such as martensite, austenite, bainite, and ferrite is also different, which also affects the fineness of the crystal.

4. The influence of chemical composition elements: The different chemical compositions contained in the finished steel ball, such as iron, carbon, chromium, manganese, sulfur, phosphorus, etc., will affect the hardness and impact wear of the steel ball to varying degrees. Generally speaking, steel balls with large chromium content have higher wear resistance.
