Introduction
GCr15 steel is a representative steel grade of high-carbon chromium bearing steel with good overall performance. The cutting performance after spheroidizing annealing is good, the hardness after quenching and tempering is high and uniform, the wear resistance and contact fatigue strength are high, and the heat treatment performance is good.
Chrome steel is a bearing-grade alloy steel. This material is called 52100 steel in the US, 100Cr6 in Europe, SUJ2 in Japan, and GCr15 in China. This fine-grained martensitic steel has high hardness, excellent wear resistance, surface characteristics, and is particularly suitable for making chrome steel balls. Chrome steel is an excellent material for balls used in various applications such as food grinding systems, vibration polishing, linear motion components and check valves.
Chrome steel balls have high hardness, deformation resistance and excellent wear resistance. The chrome balls that we produce are made of the highest quality chrome alloy electric furnace steel andthrough-hardened for maximum strength and service life. How to choose steel balls
1. If you want high hardness and wear resistance, then choose bearing steel balls, followed by carbon steel balls with fire.
2. If you want to weld and have low hardness, you need carbon steel balls without fire, commonly known as iron balls.
3. If you want a good anti-rust effect, you need stainless steel balls, 304, 316, 316L, and the anti-rust effect will be enhanced in turn.
4. If you want good anti-rust effect and high hardness, then you need 440 stainless steel ball.
5. If you want high accuracy, you must choose something else, the smaller the number, the higher the level, and the better the accuracy.
