Product Introduction—Alumina Ceramic Ball
Alumina ceramic balls are wear-resistant ceramic products made of α-alumina powder as the basic raw material, rolled or pressed, and sintered at high temperature.
The main component of the alumina ball is high-quality alumina with high whiteness, which has no effect on the quality of the material being ground. It has excellent characteristics such as high strength, high hardness, high wear resistance, high specific gravity, small size, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and pollution-free. It is the grinding medium for ball mills and other fine grinding equipment.
Alumina filler balls can be divided into medium aluminum balls, medium high aluminum balls and high aluminum balls according to different alumina contents. Generally, we classify 60%-65% alumina content as medium aluminum balls, 75%-80% oxidation The aluminum content is called medium and high aluminum ball, and the alumina content of more than 90% is high aluminum ball. Among them, high alumina balls are subdivided into 90 porcelain, 92 alumina filler balls, 95 alumina filler balls and 99 porcelain.
The tablets are widely used in petroleum, chemical and other industries as tower packing balls and catalyst carriers. device, demethylation device, etc. as bottom filling material.
The advantages of ceramic balls as follows:
1. Energy saving. The specific gravity of ceramic balls is less than half of that of steel balls, reducing energy consumption.
2. No pollution. Because alumina is inert, it basically does not react with acid and alkali, and the alumina content of high alumina balls is high (92%, 95%), and most grinding materials will not chemically react with the grinding materials, and will not cause pollution. .
3. High hardness, good wear resistance and long service life. Alumina ceramics have a Mohs hardness of 9.
4. Corrosion resistance. Alumina is inert and does not react with acid and alkali, which avoids the corrosion of the steel lining plate. The appearance of the alumina ceramic ball is white spherical, and the diameter can be 0.5-90mm.
Alumina ceramic ball application:
1. Used in ball mills, vertical stirring mills, pot mills, vibrating mills, etc., as grinding media for grinding and grinding equipment. Its grinding efficiency and wear resistance are much better than ordinary ball stones and natural pebbles.
