Description
The main component of the alumina ball is high-quality alumina with high whiteness, which has no effect on the quality of the material being ground. It has excellent characteristics such as high strength, high hardness, high wear resistance, high specific gravity, small size, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and pollution-free. It is the grinding medium for ball mills and other fine grinding equipment.
Widely used in petrochemical plants, chemical fiber plants, alkylbenzene plants, aromatics plants, ethylene plants, natural gas plants, hydrocracking units, refining units, catalytic reforming units, isomerization units, demethylation units and other underfill materials . As the supporting and covering material and tower packing for catalyst, molecular sieve, desiccant, etc. in the reactor. Its main function is to increase the distribution point of gas or liquid, support and protect the active catalyst with low strength.
The advantages of ceramic balls as follows:
1. High hardness: the Vickers hardness of ordinary Gcr15 bearing steel is 800HV, while the hardness of the zirconia ceramic ball is above 1700HV.
2. High wear resistance: Take our company's process of processing products as an example, ordinary steel ball milling (with a margin of one millimeter) takes about 2-4 hours, while silicon nitride ball processing requires at least 150-200 hours.
3. Corrosion resistance: The stability of ceramic materials is excellent, especially silicon nitride balls, which hardly react with any substances. They are widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, food and other industries that need to contact strong oxidants and strong reducing agents. .
4. High temperature resistance: The ceramic ball has to experience thousands of degrees Celsius high temperature and great pressure during the sintering process. Its internal molecular structure is very stable and the arrangement is very dense. This makes its thermal expansion coefficient very low, and the change of temperature has almost its structure size. There is no impact. The working temperature of the ceramic ball can reach 1200 degrees Celsius or even higher, and the low temperature has little effect on it, so it is widely used in the aerospace field.
5. Light weight: The weight of ceramic balls is only 50%-60% of ordinary steel balls, which is very promising in the field of bearings and aerospace.
6. Self-lubricating: The ceramic ball itself has good self-lubricating performance and high processing precision. It can reach G5 and G10 grades. The ceramic balls are wear-resistant, stable in structure and not easy to deform, so they can be fine processed and applied to many special industries.
7. Insulation: Ceramic has good insulation effect.
Alumina ceramic ball application:
1. Used in ball mills, vertical stirring mills, pot mills, vibrating mills, etc., as grinding media for grinding and grinding equipment. Its grinding efficiency and wear resistance are much better than ordinary ball stones and natural pebbles.
