Stainless steel is notable for its corrosion resistance, and it is widely used for food handling and cutlery among many other applications. Stainless steel does not readily corrode, rust or stain with water as ordinary steel does. However, it is not fully stain-proof in low-oxygen, or high-salinity environments. There are various grades and surface finishes of stainless steel to suit the environment the alloy must endure. Stainless steel is used where both the properties of steel and corrosion resistance are required. Its resistance to corrosion and staining, low maintenance, and familiar lustre make it an ideal material for many applications.
Stainless steel cold rolled coil always comes in two surface finishes, namely 2B and BA finish. For hot rolled stainless coils, it is usually No.1 finish. Stainless steel coil are inventoried in 200 series, 300 series, 400 series. Different processing processes allow us to finish different complex requirements from customers. Cutting SS coil to specified width, processing the surface, protecting the coil finish by different PVC, PE film. In ZNGL, SS coil with BA+PVC/PE, 2B+PVC/PE, No.4+PVC/PE is very common. Customers even can order different film, like white and black film, blue film, and transparent film. All big stainless steel coils can be divided into many small ones with specified weight.
