M3 - M20 Grade4.8 Blue White Zinc Plating Split Lock Washers
The Blue White Zinc Plating washer is installed under the nut to prevent the nut from loosening.

Hex Jam slotted nuts are designed for use with bolts with holes at the end of the screw, so that the split pin can be inserted into the hole of the screw from the slot of the nut to prevent the nut from loosening automatically. The methods to prevent the automatic loosening of nuts (or bolts) in mechanical design and production are as follows:
1. Padded spring washer; (simple and easy to make)
2. Use hexagonal slotted nut + split pin; (increased processing procedures year-on-year)
3. Padded stop washer; (processing procedures added year-on-year)
4. Insert the steel wire into the hole of the hexagon head of the hexagon bolt. (Processing process increased year-on-year)
Spring washers are used to prevent loosening, flat washers have no anti-loosening function, flat washers just increase the contact area
The Blue White Zinc Plating washer only enlarges the contact area, and the spring washer can prevent loosening. For example, the bolt connecting the motor and the base should generally be equipped with a spring washer, because the motor vibrates if there is no spring washer, the nut will loosen. The parts are equipped with spring gaskets, and the flanges generally do not need to add gaskets! The addition of spring gaskets on the flange is related to the medium flowing in the pipeline. If it is easy to produce pulses, it is best to add spring gaskets, and high speed Fluid, diameter changes frequently. Don't generalize. On some valves, the stuffing box gland flange needs to add spring gaskets. Spring gaskets are included in the automatic selection of quick, easy and excellent.
