Duplex 2205 Stainless Steel Plate
Duplex stainless steel 2205 Standard: ASTM A240/A240M--01 Duplex stainless Steel 2205 alloy is composed of 22% chromium, 2.5% molybdenum and 4.5% nickel nitrogen alloy composite stainless steel. It has high strength, good impact toughness and good overall and local resistance to stress corrosion.
Application field

2205 stainless steel Features:
1. Duplex stainless steel 2205 alloy compared with 316L and 317L austenitic stainless steel,2205 alloy in the corrosion resistance and crevice corrosion performance is better, it has a high corrosion resistance, compared with austenite, its coefficient of thermal expansion is lower, higher thermal conductivity.
2.Duplex stainless steel 2205 alloy compared with austenitic stainless steel, its compressive strength is twice its, compared with 316L and 317L, the designer can reduce its weight. The 2205 alloy is particularly suitable for use in the -50 °F/+600°F temperature range and can also be used at lower temperatures under strict restrictions (especially for welded structures)
