20Cr13 / X20Cr13 / EN 1.4021 / AISI420 Stainless Steel Round Bar Hot Rolled Black Stainless Bars

Martensitic stainless steel is intended for thermal improvement, showing high mechanical properties – strength, ductility, and machinability, while maintaining sufficient corrosion resistance.

1.4021 steel is a suitable grade for work in steam environments, in low concentrations of inorganic acids, diluents, clean water, and steam at a suitably treated surface. It can also be classified as a heat-resistant grade up to 825 degrees. Shows resistance to gases containing sulfur compounds and hot steam. Stable and appropriately high mechanical properties are maintained in the operating temperature range of 475 – 500. Above the early-mentioned temperature, the creep limit is negligible, only the time resistance is relatively high.

The grade is used for the production of bolts at elevated temperatures, turbine blades, knives, decoration, surgical instruments, bushings, valve seats, scrapers, blades, ramparts, checks, springs, machine parts, molds for casting under pressure, and the pins exposed to light loads in the automotive, petrochemical, industrial hydraulics and energy industries.

302 Stainless steel rod: used in avia tion and aerospace hardware tools, chemical industry auto parts, bearings, handicrafts, ele ctrical appliances, etc.
420 stainless steel rod: it is used for s surgical scalpel, and the material is bright317 stainless steel rod: used in printi ing and dyeing equipment.
430 stainless steel rod:good formab ility, poor corrosion resistance, used for automotive accessories and other decorative pu rposes.
