Drawing process
For faucets with stainless steel as the base material, especially those using 304 stainless steel as the base material, due to the strong corrosion resistance and rust resistance of the material itself, there is generally no need for additional electroplating treatment, but a wire drawing process on the surface to make it It is not easy to leave water stains and traces.
The wire drawing process is also called sand sweeping. By grinding the material, the metal surface is mechanically moved back and forth and chemically corroded, so that the surface of the workpiece gets a layer of uniformly distributed texture. Drawing can be divided into manual drawing and mechanical drawing. Common mechanical drawing includes flat-press abrasive belt drawing, non-woven roller brush drawing, wide abrasive belt drawing, centerless grinding and so on. Different wire drawing methods will produce different wire textures. Generally, wire drawing textures can be divided into straight grain, random grain, corrugated grain, and spiral grain.
