High Corrosion Resistance heat treating cold rolled steel 316L 2B Finish
316L stainless steel has good processing performance and can be processed into various shapes and sizes of parts through cold and hot processing. Its cold working performance is better than 304 stainless steel, and it can be processed through deep drawing, stretching, bending, and other processes. It also has good thermal processing performance and can be used for forging, casting, welding and other processing.
The austenitic structure also gives these grades excellent toughness, even down to cryogenic temperatures.
Compared to chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels, 316L stainless steel offers higher creep, stress to rupture and tensile strength at elevated temperatures.
