Carbon Steel Crimped Mesh for Sieving and Protection
Fuhang Company's carbon steel crimped mesh uses a pre-crimped weaving method to ensure an accurate opening area and stable structure, including double crimped and lock crimp. Among them, the warp and weft of the lock crimped wire mesh are tightly locked at the intersection, so that the steel wires of the screen can be prevented from shifting, thus forming a more firm structure.
Carbon steel crimped wire mesh is widely used in various applications such as screening, filtering and separation. It is suitable for a variety of industrial and commercial use, including minerals, coal, stone, building materials, ceramics and food. Its sturdy design and excellent wear resistance make it an ideal choice for processing heavy materials such as ore, gravel and sand.
The raw materials used in our carbon steel crimped mesh are low-carbon steel wire, medium-carbon steel wire, or high-carbon steel wire. These three types of carbon steel wire have their own characteristics :
1. Low-carbon steel wire (Q195): It has the most advantage in price, but the hardness and wear resistance are the worst among these materials. However, the low-carbon steel crimped mesh can be welded with other low-carbon steel materials for easy installation. If the customer needs to weld the crimped wire mesh to the frame or machine, you can choose this material of the crimped wire mesh. Low-carbon steel crimped wire mesh is suitable for screening general materials.
2. Medium-carbon steel wire ( also named 45# Medium Carbon Steel Wire) : The hardness and wear resistance of the wire rod of this material are very good, and the price is also relatively advantageous. It is an ideal choice for many mine screens. Crimped wire mesh made of 45# steel wire cannot be used for welding. Generally, the iron plate is made into a U-shape, clamped to the edge of the crimped mesh, and then the iron plate is welded tightly. 45# medium carbon steel crimped wire mesh is suitable for screening most materials without acid and alkali.
3. High-carbon steel wire ( also called 65Mn steel) has higher strength, and adding a certain amount of manganese to it can improve its wear resistance, making it more suitable for use in high-strength working environments such as mining sieving.
