A tee is also called a triplet. It has three joints (just like the shape of T) and it can be used to either combine or split a fluid flow. Most of the common tees are of the same inlet and outlet sizes, but reducing tees (one joint is obviously smaller than the other two) are available as well. Due to its diverse dimension, tees are capable to control the volume when required.

Application of Stainless Steel Butt Welded Tee:
