Inconel wire mesh is woven from nickel-chromium superalloys, primarily:
Inconel 600 (72% Ni, 14-17% Cr, 6-10% Fe) – Standard grade
Inconel 601 (58-63% Ni, 21-25% Cr) – Improved oxidation resistance
Inconel 625 (58% Ni, 20-23% Cr, 8-10% Mo) – Superior corrosion/creep resistance
Inconel 718 (50-55% Ni, 17-21% Cr) – Age-hardenable for extreme strength
