Aluminum raised expanded metal sheet, also known as grating, is an excellent candidate for most processing techniques for both interior and exterior applications. This material is light weight, has a raised surface, and is susceptible to being hammered or pressed out of shape without cracking. Common applications include walkways, screens, safety guards, and ramps. With above average corrosion resistance, this is an excellent choice wherever strength is required.
Aluminium raised mesh, worked from one sheet of metal. Strands are measured from knuckle to knuckle rather than inside the diamond. The strands and bonds are set at a uniform angle to the plane of the sheet, adding strength and rigidity, allowing air circulation and distributing the load of the metal to the supporting frames.
