Brass Knitted Wire Mesh

Brass/copper knitted wire mesh is produced by machine similar to that machine making sweaters and scarves. Material could be copper wire or brass wire. The wire of knitted wire mesh can be flat wire or round wire.The knitted wire mesh can be made of mono-filament wires or multi-filament wires.The multi-filament knitted wire mesh has higher strength than the mono-filament knitted wire mesh.One distinct advantage of knitted mesh is its special interlocking loop which acts as a small spring. When subjective to tensile or compression stresses, knitted wire mesh will not distort beyond its yield point. And the knitted mesh will resume its original shape when stress is moved. Its mainly application is filtering and shielding.
