06Cr23Ni13 is a free-cutting stainless steel containing sulfur, which is mainly used in the occasions where free-cutting and surface are required to have high brightness.
The corresponding US grade for 06Cr23Ni13 is 309S
Uses: corrosion resistance and heat resistance are better than 0Cr19Ni9.
Features: It can withstand repeated heating below 980 ℃, and has high high temperature strength, oxidation resistance and carburization resistance.
Uses: furnace materials. 309S: (0Cr23Ni13)
06Cr23Ni13 is a free-cutting stainless steel containing sulfur, which is mainly used in the occasions where free-cutting and surface are required to have high brightness.
309L is a variant of 309 stainless steel with a low carbon content, which is used for welding. The low carbon content minimizes the precipitation of carbides in the heat-affected zone close to the weld, and the precipitation of carbides may cause intergranular corrosion (welding corrosion) of stainless steel in certain environments.
