How is it different from stainless steel?
Compared with austenitic stainless steel: high strength and resistance to intergranular corrosion and chloride stress corrosion have been significantly improved. Duplex stainless steel has excellent pitting corrosion resistance and is also a nickel-saving stainless steel.
