Beer yeast dryer is a dryer that heats materials and vaporizes moisture to dry materials by indirect conduction heating, using steam as the heating source. The core system is consists of the dryer, rack, drive system, scraper device, limiting device, scraping device, feeding device, and gas circuit system, which is also equipped with the electric control device and exhaust hood. The design of heat conduction could largely reduce the heat loss from heat media, raising the heat efficiency and lowering the energy cost. Meanwhile, our product also has the advantage of space-saving, user-friendly operation, corrosion prevention, and non-pollution.
Product Working Principle
The drum dryer is a continuous operation device that dries the liquid phase material or ribbon material attached to the outer wall of the cylinder by means of heat conduction through a rotating cylinder. The material liquid to be dried flows into the material receiving tank of the drum dryer from the upper tank. The drying drum is driven by the transmission device, and the material is formed by the filming device to form a material film on the wall of the drum. The cylinder is heated continuously, and the moisture of the material film is vaporized by the heat transfer from the cylinder wall, and the material is scraped off by a scraper, and then conveyed to the storage tank through a screw for packaging. It has high thermal efficiency and can be operated continuously, so it is widely used in the drying of liquid materials or strip-shaped materials, and is more suitable for paste-like and viscous materials.
Product Features
High thermal efficiency. Because the heat transfer mechanism of the drum dryer is heat conduction, the heat transfer direction is consistent throughout the rest of the operation cycle. Except for the cover heat dissipation and heat radiation loss, the heat is all used for the evaporation of the wet film of the film, and the thermal efficiency can reach 80%~90%.
The operation is flexible and wide in applicability. Many drying factors can be adjusted for the drum dryer. For example, the concentration of the feed, the thickness of the coating film, the temperature of the heating medium, the rotation speed of the drum, etc., can change the drying efficiency of the drum dryer, and many factors are not involved. This brings great convenience to the drum drying operation, so that it can adapt to the drying of various materials and different production requirements.
Drying time is short. The drying cycle of the material is generally only 10-300 seconds, which is more suitable for heat sensitive materials. If the drum dryer is placed in a vacuum, it can be operated under reduced pressure.
The drying rate is large. Since the coating film is thin on the wall of the cylinder, generally 0.3-1.5mm, and the heat transfer and mass transfer directions are the same, and the surface of the film can maintain the evaporation strength of 100-150kg H2O/m2.h.
