Med Accessories SpO2 Sensors are designed for continuous non-invasive monitoring of arterial oxygen saturation and pulse rate. They are fully compatible replacement sensors for use with major brands of pulse oximeters.
Med Accessories offers reusable sensors for four patient categories:
Adults: These sensors are suitable for patients weighing more than 30 kg.
Children: Designed for patients weighing 10-50 kg.
Infants: For patients weighing between 3-20 kg.
Neonate/Adult: These sensors are suitable for patients weighing less than 3 kg or greater than 40 kg.
It is important to select the appropriate sensor model that matches your specific pulse oximeter specifications. Med Accessories ensures that its SpO2 sensors are designed to meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) requirements.
By choosing the correct Med Accessories sensor model for your pulse oximeter, you can ensure compatibility and accurately monitor arterial oxygen saturation and pulse rate.
Warranty/Liability Information:
Med Accessories warrants its sensors against defects in materials and/or workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. This warranty covers any problems caused by manufacturing defects. However, it does not cover damage or breakage caused by abuse or neglect of the sensor.
Med Accessories warrants that its equipment meets the specifications of applicable current safety and performance standards.
Additionally, the following warnings should be heeded:
Sensors designed for specific displays: Sensors are designed specifically to work with certain displays. It is the operator's responsibility to ensure compatibility between monitors, probes and cables before using them together. Use of incompatible components may result in reduced accuracy and performance.
Accuracy evaluation: It is not recommended to use functional testers or blood oxygen simulators to evaluate sensor accuracy. Instead, refer to the instruction manual of the device and related accessories for appropriate accuracy assessment methods.
Consult operating instructions: Always consult the operating instructions for the equipment and related accessories before operating the equipment. This will help ensure compatibility and correct usage.
Interference from Portable/Mobile RF Communications Equipment: Remember that portable and mobile RF communications equipment may affect the operation of the equipment. Take necessary precautions to minimize disruption.
Disposal Compliance: When disposing of the sensor, follow local regulations regarding proper disposal methods.
