High Precision Slewing Drive Description
Vertical 5 inch slewing drive with high precision could be applied in parabolic trough power plants (PTPP). It is a kind of developed thermal power station which can generate electricity by collecting the heat of the sun to the high temperature fluid.
The parabolic through power plants consists of: parabolic reflectors (mirrors), receiver tube, metal support structure, tracking system which includes the slewing drives, sensors, and controls. Slewing drives are the core part of the tracking unit.
