Wood Eva Foam Interlocking Mats Maintenance:
3/8" and 1/2" thick soft wood tiles can be maintained just like your wood flooring at home.
The recommended cleaning instructions typically include sweeping the tiles to remove any loose or dry dirt, crumbs, dust, or debris.
To clean harder stains or liquids off of the soft wood tiles, the tiles should be wiped off with a damp rag or temporarily lifted and cleaned under warm running water in a sink or bath tub.
The wooden design is a thin yet durable veneer like foam surface that can be punctured under sharp animal nails, rough use and the wooden pattern is not guaranteed to always line up between interlocking tiles.
Material – Soft wood tiles are constructed of closed cell high density foam that helps ensure they are water proof, odor free, light weight yet durable and insulating.
Please note - the Oak mat surface is a printed surface, so it is more susceptible to damage from scratching than our solid color mats. This is something to keep in mind when deciding whether wood grain foam mats is the best option for you. Also, anything that concentrates weight on a small area (for example high heeled shoes, table legs, chair legs) will leave permanent markings in the mats).
