Ballast Water Sintered Filter may be taken on board by ships for stability and the water generally contains thousands of aquatic or marine microbes, plants and animals, which are then carried across the globe. Untreated ballast water released at the ship’s destination could potentially introduce the problem of new invasive marine species. Hundreds of such invasions have already taken place, sometimes causing serious issues for local ecosystems around the world.
For filtration of ballast water in the shipbuilding sector, we produce specially developed stainless steel meshes, semi-finished products and filter cartridges.
Description of stainless steel sintered ballast water filters:
1. Grade: Mainly ss316, ss316L,duplex

3. Standard: acid-resistant Stainless steel
4. Mesh: 20mesh, 40mesh, 60mesh.
5. Instruction: The material of dissolution basket is acid-resistant stainless steel, because this kind of stainless steel can resist the corrosion of Chemicals and well used in chemical solutions for a long time.
