Molybdenum ASTM B387 Type 361 is a commercially pure grade containing 99.9% molybdenum. Trace amounts of potassium, aluminum, silicon, iron, nickel, copper, chromium, sodium and tungsten enhance the metal's properties. The melting point of this grade is 2610 degrees Celsius. Grade 364/365 round rod is another specific grade of molybdenum rod. These bars have a minimum tensile strength of 580MPa and a minimum yield strength of 350MPa.
