It is widely used in flue gas desulfurization and other industries.

ASTM A789 UNS S31803 alloy pipe is a cost-effective solution that is insensitive to chloride stress-related corrosion cracking and is suitable for applications requiring general corrosion resistance. The ASTM A789 specification also highlights the resistance of ASTM A789 UNS S32205 to stress-related corrosion cracking.
