The device also includes non-contact position sensing, a plain-text display that follows NAMUR Recommendation NE 107 for reporting states and messages, and integrated diagnostic functions. Additionally, this device is easy to operate with one knob and a menu-driven display.
The LCD screen is easy to read from any mounting position thanks to its selectable reading direction. It can also be configured with a computer over the SSP interface using the TROVIS-VIEW software.
The device offers variable, automatic start-up with four different initialization modes. In case of emergency, the sub (substitution) initialization mode allows the positioner to be started up without having to change the valve position. All parameters are saved in non-volatile EEPROM and the device operates on a small electrical load of 465 Ω.
Furthermore, this device includes an adjustable tight-closing function and continuous zero monitoring for optimal performance.
