Hot rolled seamless tubes are generally produced on automatic tube rolling mills. After inspection and removal of surface defects, the solid tube blank is cut into the required length, centered on the perforated end face of the tube blank, and then sent to the heating furnace for heating and piercing on the piercer. When the piercing is continuously rotated and advanced, a cavity is gradually formed inside the tube blank under the action of the roller and the plug, which is called the rough tube. And then sent to the automatic pipe mill for further rolling. Finally, the wall thickness of the whole machine is adjusted by leveling, and the sizing machine is used for sizing to meet the specification requirements. It is an advanced method to produce hot rolled A106B seamless steel pipe by continuous tube rolling mill.
Seamless pipe is widely used. Seamless pipes for general use are rolled from ordinary carbon structural steel, low alloy structural steel or alloy structural steel, with the largest output. They are mainly used as pipes or structural parts for conveying fluids.
