This is a Cisco SFP-H10GB-CU compatible 10GBase SFP+ to SFP+ direct attach cable that operates over passive copper with a maximum reach of 7m. It has been programmed, uniquely serialized, and data-traffic and application tested to ensure it is 100% compliant and functional. The unique EEPROM technique has been used to ensure the DACs are compatible with different brands on the original switches and routers.

Description

This SFP+ DAC is passive Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cables as high-speed, cost-effective alternatives to fiber optics in 10G Ethernet applications. The 10G SFP+ DAC contains 2 high-speed copper pairs, operating at data rates of up to 10Gb/s. Each SFP+ port comprises an EEPROM providing product information, which can be read by the host system. Olinkcom's DAC solutions provide power-efficient connectivity for short-distance interconnects. They enable higher port bandwidth, density and configurability at a low cost and reduced power requirement in the data centers. Rigorous cable production testing ensures best out-of-the-box installation experience, performance and durability.
