T5577 chips is ATMEL Corporation in the United States introduced a high performance contactless IC card chips, operating frequency 125KHz. The chip 's total of 363 bit EEPROM ( distribution of 11 blocks, each block 33 bit). Block 0 is a parameter configuration block is reserved for setting the T5577 operating mode. Block 7 may be used as the user data blocks to be provided to a user password protect all the data blocks, to avoid illegal rewrite without permission. Since the T5577 chip unique stable performance, and good encryption properties (multi-level authorization), IC card water meter, electric meter, gas meter and other industries has been widely used.
T5577 application in water meters, electricity meters, gas meters generally have to card with a piece or a couple of magnets, this is known as the T5577 IC card with magnet or T5577 magnet cards, commonly used magnets have N38, N40 and so on.IC card water meter, gas meter, it is difficult to adopt lighting power supply electricity, generally operates on battery mode. To minimize battery consumption, generally meter IC card reader circuit is not working.When the prepaid expenses,IC card near the instrument will activate the IC card read-write circuit.This action is activated by a magnet to attract the IC card meter in the magnetic switch to complete.
